Cleaning your soldering iron tip

If the stylus no longer works properly, let the soldering iron heat up and hold the tip of the stylus in the Cleaning and tinner for ±6 seconds.
If the tip is not yet clean and shiny, repeat this operation.

Application:

The FELDER TINNER "lead-free" should mainly be used before work breaks and before the end of work. The soldering tip should have a temperature of 250°C to approx. 400°C so that the tinning process can run optimally.

For best cleaning results, the hot soldering iron tip should be dipped briefly into the tinner until it melts on the tip and wets it. Then remove any loosely adhering activation residues with a metal sponge (please do not use a wet cleaning sponge!) and switch off the soldering iron.
