Cascade's lead profiles for stained glass are 196 cm long and are tightly packed in recycled cardboard boxes. It is best to solder this lead profile with 60/40 solder tin and use stearin oil as flux.

Cascade lead profiles for stained glass:
- Length of approx. 196 cm, very pure and clean lead.
- Exact dimensions (both in the flanges and in the soul). Perfectly milled lines both in the cheeks and on the soul, allowing the glass to slide very smoothly through the lead profiles. Over the pure lead, there is an oil coating so that the new lead does not oxidise and solder better.
- This pure lead profile for stained glass is of the highest quality and has the added advantage of perfect patination.
- Standard lead is ‘semi-hard’ this hardness is very stable yet so soft that it is pleasant to work with.
- Packed in 25KG boxes of very sturdy recycled cardboard, much more sympathetic than the old-fashioned wooden boxes, both for the user and the environment.
- Easier to ship and more congenial in storage.
