Frank van den Ham's Bowl in clear and gray

An almost graphic design and only clear and grey glass give this bowl a light and breezy look. Small dots were fused on top of a clear glass slab, and the side resting on the kiln shelf was ground and polished for a transparent result. The glass was slumped through a round hole, and the surplus, the part where the slump rested, was cut off. The edge was finished in typical ‘van den Ham style’ by giving it an uneven or even unfinished look. Then, the edge was painted black. This relatively small object, as always, a one-of-a-kind, will fit in any collection.

The size of the object: height 14,5 cm, diameter 18 cm.
